Talent Acquisition Coordinator - NY

We are only as good as our team so hiring the right people is essential to our success. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play an integral role in helping expand and support our workforce. Collaborating with executives and hiring managers, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will identify, qualify and interview top candidates. The role will entail full-cycle recruiting but also HR activities related to attraction and retention.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ascertain necessary technical background and requirements for open or newly-created roles
  • Work with the management team to design and refine interviews and pass/fail standards
  • Conduct interviews and write interview reports
  • Perform searches via various channels in a cost-conscious manner, identify best platforms for advertising job openings
  • Set-up a network of universities, alumni associations, targeted job fairs
  • Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process
  • Professionally engage candidates and third parties, ensure a very positive experience for all applicants
  • Maintain the ATS in a rigorous manner
  • Scheduling and other administrative tasks related to the hiring processes
  • Facilitate flawless onboarding by communicating with various internal departments
  • Assist with salary analysis and succession planning
  • Obtain and speak with references for candidates to further qualify their skills
  • Communicate compensation packages to final candidates
  • Based in our NYC office

  • Must have a great enthusiasm for technology

  • Be self-reliant and capable of both independent work and successful collaboration
  • Be persistent, pro-active and accurate
  • You enjoy constantly expanding your knowledge base
  • At ease being hands-on but also suggesting process improvements at a higher level
  • Be results oriented and comfortable taking ownership of the outcomes of recruiting cycles
  • Interest in working for a global company 
  • Open to travel as needed

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate has at least 5 years in technical recruiting with a HR background, preferably recruiting for a Consulting company
  • Familiarity with Data base and Data Science related technologies, relevant languages, and the capacity and interest to learn more as technology continually grows and changes
  • Understand the technology sector culture and its dynamics
  • Keeps current on local and federal laws as they relate to HR and hiring
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA, 3.5 a plus
