Senior Consultant- Data Management

Due to tremendous growth, Eccella US is hiring an experienced professional for a full time Senior Consultant role.  We seek an intelligent, creative leader who can handle the combined rigors of tackling technical challenges while managing a delivery team and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You'll own the complete solution life-cycle – requirements gathering, architecture, leading development, testing and live release to see the impact of your work for our customers. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to learn and use new products to design and build innovative solutions for our clients. A successful candidate will have a deep knowledge and expertise across a spectrum of technical disciplines including data modeling, data integration, data quality, analytics, big data and cloud platforms as well as vertical expertise in at least one industry. We’ll provide consistent, rigorous training to ensure you meet our standards of delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end projects using SDLC concepts for our customers
  • Manage project and customer success independently
  • Support the broader team and enable fellow consultants
  • Quickly pick up emerging technologies
  • Contribute to R&D efforts, sales efforts and support company success
  • Ability to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations and solutions for our clients

SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of hands-on industry experience, ideally in a consulting firm
  • 3+ years experience with Data Management technologies, Informatica a huge plus
  • Knowledge of Management Information Systems: SQL, relational theory, data modelling, various different RDBMS (eg Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Aptitude to work independently and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lead a team and work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations and documentation
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
  • Ability to mentor and coach others

Plus but not necessary:

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy
  • Experience with Big Data platforms such as Hadoop
  • Understanding of Cloud Technologies
